Evidence of our filming

During half term we filmed in Mile End in 3 different locations:
- Estate
- Stephane's house
- Studio

Stephane and Shazad who both play characters within the film opening both had to dress accordingly to  accommodate the mise en scene of our opening, i.e. hoodies, trainers and all black clothing which are relevant to the urban and gritty nature of our film.

Evidence Of Our Filming

On our fourth and final day of filming, we filmed our 'studio scene' where Stephan (the protagonist) is seen rapping.

Pitch - Story Board

This is our story board of our film briefly explaining what is going on in each scene. We have decided to keep it how it was, but with the feedback we received, we have altered some of our shot types and scenes of where we are shooting. We've also thought about of title sequence and how we are going to do it.

Risk Assessment

  1. Filming in a safe area.
  2. If raining we use umbrella.
  3. If raining heavily, we must stop filming to stop the camera getting damaged and eventually damaged.
  4. Must keep all equipment in all cases.
  5. Handle the camera safely.
  6. Watching out for where we put memory cards and equipment (could easily get lost)
  7. Always look out for our equipment especially because we are filming outside, theives are about.

Framing - the thirds rule

The Thirds Rule

The rule of thirds is applied by aligning a subject with the guide lines and their intersection points, placing the horizon on the top or bottom line, or allowing linear features in the image to flow from section to section.
