Representation of stereotype

Stereotype:widely held but fixed and oversimplified image or idea of a particular type of person or thing.

The jocks are seen as being dumb, senseless and at times don't really know what they are doing. They are portrayed as being masculine and wear leather baseball jackets with their back pack on their shoulder.

The cheerleaders are seen as being the prettiest girls in the school, very sexy and the one's every girl want to be. They usually bully the girls who aren't like them. They wear tight clothing with long hair and slim figures and usually have the boys drooling over them.

The nerds are the ones who get no attention in school and are usually the easy targets of betting bullied. They are academically smart, but have no luck with the girls they really like, expect that odd one person.

The blonde cheerleader is stereotype as being dumb and very arrogant, as this is shown through their competitive side whilst competing in extra curriculum activities.

The blonde singer is stereotyped as being arrogant during performances towards members of pupils, also dumb in certain situations. She's dressed mainly in pink with diamonds and glitter, portraying how blond girls are.

The captain of the basketball teams are the one's who tend to get the most females attention. They wear sporty clothing and will always be found in the gym playing basketball. Also, romance is key, as they tend to have a girlfriend during their school year.
