The task was to add a music sound track to a clip from a teen movie, the clip we decided to use was 'Love & Basketball', the sound we used had to be Copyright free.

this is because using copyrighted music is illegal, and using it for our own clips is breaking the law.

Creative Commons:

creative commons is a website that we used in order too download Copyright Free music, in order to use it in our clips, Creative Commons has all the music, however it has filtered out the ones that have Copyright, and allows us to download the Copyright Free music.

The search query page allows us to look for a particular track, most likely to redirect us to Soundcloud

When we search for 'Slow Jams' it shows a number of tracks within that genre, notice how it is only the last clip we can download, this is because it is Copyright free.

When we downloaded the clip, we used 'MediaHuman Audio Converter', so that it was compatible with Final Cut Pro.

Track converter, a video drive had to be plugged in, in order to import it to Final Cut Pro.
