Audience Detail

Our film opening is targeted at teenage males who aspire to be something, because our protagonist is a male who wants to be a rapper, we feel that a number of teens will be able to relate because many teenagers have a goal and know what they want to be but there may be things that get in the way and our film opening portray's this. We also targeted males, simply because our protagonist is a male. In addition, our subgenre of coming of age is relevant to young adults as the journey is one that involves obstacles which many have to face.                                                                                                                                                                                               

Skills Audit To Date

There are many things we have learnt about the equipment. Firstly, the cap on the Camera must always be closed when you are not filming as this prevents any dust from damaging the lens or any scratches etc. Also, we've learnt that before we begin filming with the Camera, we always have to focus it, getting the best, quality image we can. Also, the use of the Tripod is to keep the Camera steady whilst filming a shot. This also enables us to be able to Tilt and Pan the Camera whilst shooting different shots. You can also expand the Tripod making it taller for high shot angles or lower for low shot angles.

We've learnt many things also about the different types of software. Firstly, Final Cut Pro is used to edit our shots we filmed and bring everything together. We've learnt how to cut different types of shots, add effects such as Fade Away, Sub-Titles etc. Also, we've recently been introduced to Creative Commons Search. This allows us to search sound choices and download it, which later we can add to our film. We've learnt that its very effective and very easy to access, as the access of these sounds make our work much better.

Finally, what we have learnt about our blogging skills is that we can blog things, on particular tasks we have done in and outside the lesson, giving viewers a general idea of what we get up to. During the process of blogging, we've learnt how to upload or final video from Final Cut Pro and any snapshot photos of the group, whilst filming or editing our films.

The film company to produce our movie will be revolver as they have worked on many independant films such as Ill Manors and Shank, which have inspired our opening.
